Welcome to Peakhill Farm
My name is Robert White and along with my Mum & Dad & help of my lovely wife (left) we run a small organic farm near Theberton in Suffolk. My Father started the farm nearly 41 years ago and we have always had a ‘wildlife-friendly’ approach so it seemed logical to move to organic farming.
We’ve been organic since 1999 and are certified with Organic Farmers & Growers. We raise some of the best grass fed beef from our pedigree South Devon suckler herd. In the summer I grow organic vegetables, specialising in salads which I supply to selected restaurants & selected outlets within a 10 mile radius of the farm.
Carbon Negative Farming
Peakhill Farm is also very proud that in 2011 we were awarded Gold by the Suffolk Carbon Charter, as part of Suffolk Creating the Greenest County for our Carbon Negative Status.
This means that although we rear grass fed beef our farm absorbs more carbon than our herd of South Devon produces in the form of methane. To achieve such a status is an outstanding achievement.
Camping
In 2010 we opened our CL campsite. So if your a member of the caravan club you can stay on the farm taking advantage of our position close to the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and our farm is a definitely truly beautiful part of Suffolk.
In the future we’d also like to expand the camping side of things. So if your interested in camping then please do get in touch.
